Messintentionen

In the Ursula Chapel, in addition to our intercession book, there is now also an offering box in which Mass intentions can be placed in an envelope (with the respective intention).

A Mass celebration is always a thanksgiving for the redemption that was given to us through the death and resurrection of Christ and is made present in the memorial celebration of the Eucharist. A Mass intention is the request that a personal intention is taken up and supported by the celebrant on behalf of the whole congregation: an intercessory prayer for the sick, the deceased or on special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries etc.

The Mass intention is linked to a symbolic amount, the so-called Mass stipend, which the bishops have set at € 5. The amount is intended for pastoral care in St. Michael's.
