On the third Wednesday of every month we celebrate our service for the sick at 18:00. Not just for those who are sick themselves, but for everybody who cares for an ill person at home or works as a physician, nurse, therapist or other health professional. At St. Michael's we keep the late-medieval reliquary that is said to contain the skulls of the physician saints Cosmas and Damian. At the conclusion of each service for the sick, individual blessings are bestowed at the shrine of St. Cosmas and Damian.
